We use quite a lot of geeky terms in this site that others may not understand so we decided to list them here! Most of them are slang or newly invented technical terms. Just ask if you still don’t understand something, we are always adding to it.

Current Generation - Current generation normally refers to the top end of current generation of games consoles, at the time of writing this is xbox 360, PS3 and high end PCs.

Triangle – A triangle is a shape, obviously! In the context of this site we may well be talking about triangles that make up the mesh of a 3D model. The triangle count is a good measure of how much computer memory, and how detailed a 3D model is. This is also sometimes measured in polygons, though as a polygon can have many sides a triangle is a more accurate form of quantifying a mesh.
